spring question

I have a 93yj with a 4.5 inch Rubicon Express Lift, spring under, 35in tires. I have cut out the wheel well for extra clearance.

Now that I am about 2 years into the springs and lift I am getting the dreaded sag. With the kids, lunch, tools, and such loaded in the back I drop an inch or so and occasionally will bottom out. I have been searching the all powerful Google for an answer to my problems and have come across this as a possible solution: http://www.yotatech.com/f116/coils-done-pictures-thanks-zuk-157035/

I would like to get some input by the oh so wise members of the RME forum as to pros/cons and possible other solutions.

This is not a daily driver, It sees 3 or 4 Moab trips a year and a couple hundred miles around the neighborhood.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Looks like it would work. Basically you are changing from riding on the leafs, to riding on the coils. The leafs will just be there to locate the axle.

I would throw in a extra leaf in the spring pack before I went to something like that. Plus, I don't think your YJ has the clearance between the axle and the frame like that Yota does.

I read some stuff on pirate about doing this and basically its only to help wore out springs (like you have). There's ppl that put two on each side on the springs and ppl that has put one right in the center of the axle. I'm with everyone else on this one. it would be easier and probably just as cheap to just add a leaf. :D
