Maybe I am missing a very obvious answer to this, but I need new plates to go with the new U-Bolts that I had made to mount my new axel under my XJ. I have tried Six States and Hendersens? Help!

I presume you are putting in a bigger axle than the stock dana 35. The ubolt plates for an xj dana 44 have wider hole spacing on the plates than the 35 plates. The xj 8.25 axle also has wider spacing on the holes. If you are using either of these two axles you can go to the PicknPull and pick up a set of the wider ones. If you are using another axle than these you can find plates off of the vehicle that the axle came from assuming both are spring over setups. You can also weld up the holes on your old plates and redrill the holes where they need to be or buy some plate steel and make your own. If you need patterns I have some of the 44 and 8.25 plates that you could use for a pattern.

I am putting an 8.8 that I bought from WayneXJ on this site. I spent the weekend putting in a 242 transfercase with a hack-n-tap and now i just need to bolt in the axle to measure up for the new drive shaft.

i used the ones from my 35 when i installed the 44. i do have 2 pieces of .5" plate that measure 6x6. you can cut them down and drill some holes. you can have them if you want to come get them.

That would be great. I will drop you a pm.
