The other day I noticed that when I push in my clutch somthing squeeks it dosen't happen all the time and I've noticed it's a little harder to shift. The only things I can think of is the throw out bearing is going bad or I just need to adjust the clutch cable. It's in my 85 F 250 Diesel. Any help would be great. I hope it's not to bad.

Alot of Fords have a small plastic bushing that the clutch linkage rides on under the dash, if it wears out or breaks, the clutch may not fully disengage when you push in the pedal, check with the dealer, its ony a couple dollar part...

I know what bushing your talking about. I went and looked and it dosen't have it. It has a little plastice part that comes from a grey boxs and when you push the clutch in it pulls the plastice thing out.

I beleive that is the clutch/start switch, what about busings on the pedal pivot bolt or pin, the place where the pedal actually attatches to the firewall or pedal assembly, is it possible there is a worn bushing there?
