St. George Area Wheeling and Biking?

Cascadia

Undecided
Location
Orem, Utah
We were down in St. George this weekend checking out the area. My wife used to spend a lot of time down there growing up and up until she met me, then life got busy. I've never been down there before, only driven through there about 20 or so times heading to Vegas and Cali. We've always wanted a place in Moab but the in laws don't want to go in on a place down there cause it's "too far" away from everything. After spending the weekend down there I think I'm on board. I'd like to know more about the area though. Where do I get trail maps and trails that are for certain things. We mountain bike, dirt bike, wheel, and run. We've already found a lot of the running and mountain biking trails although I'm sure there are more. But where are all of the dirt biking single tracks and wheeling trails and descriptions and ratings? Thanks in advance.

The wheeling is Awesome in St. George. Anywhere in the Sand hollow HOV area is great. Several trails that run through there. Some say they like it better than Moab. Then there is a ton and easy trails that go all over the place.

try googln for west rim, snow canyon, maze, jasons trail , red cliff's conservation, touqerville falls, turkey farm road. These are all local roads, to trails. the roads have anywhere from 5-15 trail heads on them for hiking/bikings. Then you also have sand hollow park Zion park, snow canyon park Pine valley to the north up in veyo along with the active volcano mounds and hot springs to check out. Quail creek reservoir has some trails.

heres some info too

I have only been here a year and this is all I have found local so far. There is alot more along with the 60 miles of underground caves, but you need a day pass to unlock the gate.

I'm putting on my new slideers tonight then going back up to west rim for some more wheeling if any of the guys in the area want to group up drop me a line on here or 435-seven -o-five-9451
