st george to toroweap

anyone know the starting point for this trail in st. george? i know i can get a map at the blm office in st. george but they're not open on saturdays. i've looked high and low for gps coordinates, etc., but no luck so if anyone can share it would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I usually go to pipe springs on the way to Kanab and go out that way. Pretty well signed the whole way. If you go out river road past the new highway work you way out past seegmiller etc. Can't hardly get lost with a GPS all the main roads on the strip are there. Give me a hollar if you want. 467-2787

Can you still camp at Toroweap? I read somewhere that the camp ground there was closed.

yes you can still camp at Toroweap... the 3 campsites that were on the edge are gone but the campground is still there and it is a rather nice place to stay

thanks for the replies. on the map solid provided it looks like you can even get there from mesquite. anyone ever go that way?
