Stale Gasoline?????? Uses, Disposal????

What should I do with stale gasoline? do you recycle it like oil? The fuel line on my Mercedes project finally rotted all the way through and leaked into a couple 5 gallon buckets.

I thought of dumping some into my vehicles to burn it off, but since they are both fuel injected, I don't think it would be a great idea. I have 10 gallons of this crap.

I use old gas quite often, I just put it in the tank with at least the same amount of good fuel. No problems yet. But I am kinda irresponsible sometimes, so my advice might not be good :)

maybe the range rover won't mind. its eaten all kinds of crap, E30 and E85. but it only has an in tank fuel filter. And I just put new fuel injectors in it about 6 months ago.

maybe I'll stick it in the Sequoia since it has a fuel filter and i need to change it anyway.

can you tell which vehicle I care about more? HA HA

Salt Lake County dump takes old gas, I bet yours will too. Check with the hazardous material program.

give it to the incident management crew... that way when they roll up on a car that ran out of gas they can give it to them to worry about....

dumped about 10 gallons into my Tree. Drove it to work. didn't seem to have any issues yet. I also dumped in some old cans of heat that were in the back of my Mercedes. Seemed to get better mileage, probably because the gas was before they made ethanol. ha ha and its Wyoming gas.
