What do you think when it comes to wheels. Proably wont be adding beadlocks to the steel wheels so thats not a big factor. I do worry about the alumminum not holding up to abuse. Any one shed some interesting light on this before I make a purchase

where is a good place to get some steel wheels? I was looking at getting some from 4wheelparts but they are on the delay delivery. Any one have any other good places to order them from. I need 16x10 8on6.5

Aluminum just looks a hell of a lot better

I agree aluminum looks much better. It's also lighter and has a far broader assortement of colors, finishes and designs. I also love stock alloys on Trail rigs with large tires...they just look cool to me.
They do make horrible noises on rocks and I feel really bad when I munch the edges.

Steel is super durable, cheap, but heavy. I have taco'd a steel rim and pounded it out good enough to hold air and balance. I don't feel bad when I abuse the steel.

The good thing about heavy steel wheels is the weight is down low, right where it is most needed. At least when crawling...
