Steering question

Another silly question. Does anyone else's jeep lift up when you steer? If I'm sitting still and steer either way the front end lifts up. Any ideas why if it's not normal. I don't remember it doing it before but I'm getting old.

Does it lift whether you steer right or left, or is it only one direction? It makes sense for it to lift when you steer to the right, assuming you have stock steering. (or stock style) Since your drag link is not horizontal, it will exert force vertically as well as horizontally. If the drag link were perfectly horizontal, it will only steer. For visualization, If it were perfectly vertical then it would only lift/lower, no steering.

Not often wrong. Never quite right.

The other reason could be really wonky caster angle.

eta - no nevermind, that would make the front droop when you turn.

I honestly was thinking caster as well. I didn't always have this problem. Just trying to remember what I changed or had done in the time being. I'm going to check again tomorrow to see if it lifts one side and drops in the other direction. It seems excessive. I swear I'm so close to buying a stock TJ just to gander at why things aren't working. Changed to man things on here now I don't know what's what.
