Stripped lug nut suggestions?

I have about 4 lug nuts on my utv that where stuck and I ended up stripping the lug nut trying to break it loose with a huge cheater bar. My next move is to weld a large nut on and break the wheel studs unless someone has a better idea?

We use to hammer on a smaller size socket. Always worked for us.

that nut trick works well. usually the heat from welding it helps.

12 point socket will put more biting edges on it. Had to do the same thing with locking lug nuts on my wifes car... it takes some effort, using a breaker bar and just easing the lug nut off. Like Stratton mentioned, heat helps too...
