I have a 8,000lb warn winch and a few feet of other straps on a TJ, don't know if I am heavy enough buy I can strap my ass to a tree or something. I am game on going anytime during the day or night except Thursday night (Utah vs. TCU), you buy the D. Coke and a snickers and I'm yours. Season ticket holder and I do have a few priorities. Jessor04 is also in for a good time and wants to help and he can take my TJ if its Thursday night.

I winched a repair guy off the mountain a few winters ago working on the radios on top of the mountain and had a great time. Call me if needed, call me if not, I am into watching too.

I live just by Middle Canyon (other side) and I can see that the mountain is shrouded hard.. it would suck to be up there today.. those S curves will be scary today

I'm just waiting for Tacoma to come pick me up...!;)

But seriously, if a gate key for the SL side can be had, I'm totally up for a snow-removal.

Me to, I just have to be home by 5:00 ( can go back out about 9:00 if needed)

There are a few people willing to help, someone needs to just step up, set a time to get a group together and go get this done.

Tyson is the guys name. He has a key for the Tooele side. He said yesterday if conditions permitted he would go up today at 3:00 pm. His phone number is 801-696-8265. If you want to help call him.

I just talked to Tyson on the phone. He is thinking tomorrow would be best for him. He has a thing tonight he can't miss and is working till later on this afternoon. This would also give the snow time to melt and settle. He said he would call me when he gets things figured out (might be in the morning, I'll post as soon as he calls). The key he has is for the Tooele side so those of us on this side of the mountain will have to caravan around and drive in on that side. I'm not sure how many rigs we'll need. If he has just slipped off probably just one or two but the more the merrier :).

I had some time today so I ran up to see if the gate is open in the day so I could take some pics and see how bad it was but the gate is closed.
One good thing is it did not snow as hard on the Tooele side.

I just talked to him and it looks like the plan is to meet at the Carl Juniors parking lot at the district (114th and Bangerter Highway) at 12:30 and then drive around to Tooele. Obviously anyone that can come would be great. Anyone that is in SLC further North we can just meet us along Bangeter on the way.
