Stuck truck in Butterfield Canyon needs removal before snowfall

There's a gate on the steep, dangerous road to keep retards from driving up there in the snow, sliding off the steep, dangerous drops, and requiring dangerous, arduous rescues at great taxpayer expense.

No doubt that is one of the reasons the gate exists, but it's located clear down at the bottom of the canyon well before you see dirt road. It's the same on the Salt Lake valley side as well.

Also, I found it interesting that at the point where can choose to go up to the coppermine overlook or down to the other valley, it was barricaded so that you couldn't go down the Salt Lake valley side. :confused:

They would all SAR out in the winter. Taxpayer funded. :D

They put the gates low in the canyons so no one goes UP. Makes sense to me. No point in letting anyone go further than that.

I thought that you were talking about this trip. No tax payer other than yours truly payed for the gas from logan to pull his stuck butt out only to be turned away.
