herzog has been my inspiration /bad example in solo runs?

i think it was ejs 2008 him and his wife? did a solo run up upper heldo and i was like man thats freaking awesome/crazy!

what are some of the dumbest climbs/ trails you have done solo?

worst part for me is having no confidence in my 21 spline dual ultimates , with v8,40s, 4.10s in the axles , also no winches

beginning of this month i went down to moab, and sunday morning before we headed back home i decided to play around at area bfe(AreaBFE | Hardcore Recreation Park)

only a few funs on rig since it was built , but things went okay minus 2 sidewall tears in front drive tire (old style 40 inch good year 50 miles on it)

then the next weekend went to the other side of the state for some more wheeling

after a few sunday ,my gf having no more rear driveline bolts we hopped in my buggy for some more pushing our luck! played around for a bit then headed to what might be the hardest trail in the state!

a few years ago solo run at area bfe on the green day trail

i climbed suicide hill for the first time right before this and was feeling like i could do anything! then..

one day that same year i tipped 2 times on britney spears at bfe, and it was snowing off and on but my 2k suspension winches i used to have got me back over and was able to get out of there before it started snowing too hard

Only really done one. Wheeled Buena Vista Carnage Canyon solo with my wife. With 8-10" of snow in it. Ironically, it was my fastest trip through the trail. 2hrs and we were eating lunch at the top of Chinaman's. Luckily it was warm at the exit was dry as its in the sun most of the day.

I ran from Moab solo northwest to green river, through mashed potato, across the desert, played at white wash sand dunes, then popped out in town. Not real bad, but alone none-the-less.

I guess the worst trip I have done was here in my own county. I ran the rendiaja road out to the local cemetary after our fires and summer floods. On that trip I learned that braided fuel line does not make great hydraulic steering lines. I had about a 15 mile hike back home.

Great vids for sure. The rig looks like it working well. I've done a lot of trails in Moab solo at one time or another, including the Pritchett, White Knuckle, Behind the rocks loop, Upper Heldorado, Lower Heldorado, Hells Revenge, Moab Rim...

not terrible but if something went wrong could have been along day ! i got my rover hoping to do longer trails and such .. but I'm still too chicken .. and thats with a group!
