Summer solstice at the sun tunnels.

Has anyone been out there for the summer solstice? I'm thinking about hoping the car and going out there. Is there a bunch of people?

I've never done it in the summer, but I heard there were tons of people in the summer in years past.

There probably won't be many out there. The big groups of people go the weekend closest to solstice and camp. I've been out a couple times with the large groups, its always a good time.

I've only been once and we got off the speedway exit and headed north does anyone have good directions? I don't think I'll have a problem finding them but a little help would be nice.

As Curt pointed out, the big groups are there on the closest Sat/Sun to the Solstice. This year there were 75? out there on Saturday-Sunday. It's fun to seen and theven group makes it fun too.

Once your into Lucin there are big rid iron arrows that point you the rest of the way to the tunnels

Not if your coming from the salt flats. Then the signs are before Lucin.
