what are the power gains, and does it store your vin of the first truck it was used on and not work on another truck cause of the stored vin?

http://www.dieselspecialists.net/SUPERCHIPS.htm This has a breakdown of the years and the power gains. It stores the vin that you are using at the time. It does not save the vins that it used, that I know of. It will vin lock to the truck it is being used on. So no multi truck usage.
