While I don't think that SUWA has abandoned the thought of getting the ARRWA through congress, they are definately shifting gears and trying to push their agenda through smaller phases.

Not only smaller phases, but they are courting a different audience: administrators moreso than legislators of late.

To give their petition more legs, SUWA has blasted their members with requests to email Secretary Salazar in support of the petition. I strongly suggest that he get emails from us too. Copy your representatives in Congress while you're at it.
