Sway Bar Options

I have an 04 Wrangler Unlimited. It has 37's. At full turn, they barely rub on the sway bar but with the sway bar disconnected it rubs pretty good. What can I do to get rid of the sway bar or replace it with a different one so that it'll not be in the way of my tires.

How tippy does the ride get without a swaybar? How is it on the freeway and any ideas of pulling a trailer? I've only ever had it disconnected on trails. Is there some type of swaybar that puts it inside the frame rails rather than on top and outside.

they are older teraflex disconnects. They work good, just since I went up in tire size the rub a little on the bar when it is disconnected.

I haven't had my sway bar hooked up for who knows how long and it drives fine. I'm running superlift shocks that are about as stiff as they come. I think the shocks help keep it stable.

you must have the point were the bar stores down low the only thing you can go to is wone of the bars that goes though the frame tube Teraflex and curry make one that installs like that

You might want to look into the Tera ST sway bar. I had one on my LJ, and it had plenty of tire clearance. And not having disconnects flopping around is a major bonus.

I looked into the tera st one and it's pricey. The currie one is more in my price range and I've heard good things about it. Anyone have input on one of the currie ones? Front and rear?

I use my Jeep as a DD and i have on occasion pulled a very light trailer.
With out a sway bar, No problems there. As long as you are not driving like you just robbed a bank and are evading police you are going to be fine. Just take a few days to get used to it, and you will be good.
