There was a LOT of nice cars there!!!!! I was a pretty disappointed by how many crawlers, were there, and the rock crawling "demo" on to boulders.....but I guess there is only so much space

I went to the swap meet, but when I got to the line of people, hundreds long, that they stacked up just get a lousy 3 bucks from each of them, I decided to pass on going into the show. You'd think they'd be smart enough to have more than one ticket window. My mood for the show was already in the toilet when I had to park all the way up on the freeway frontage road. It was better when it was on campus.

Just because you have a facility that can nick everybody for a few bucks doesn't mean you should. What other outside car shows in Utah charge an entry fee? I won't waste my time next year.

There is one coming up and they said they were charging 15.00 a person to get in. Now that is crazy. Everybody I talked to at the show liked it better at thanksgiving point.

There is going to be one up in the Brighton ski resort parking lot on July 26 that will be free admission. I think it is going to be cars only, but a cool place to do a show.

Cory, great to finally meet you there and thanks to all those that showed up. The show had about 670 registered cars, more than 100 more than last year. Yes, I was hoping there would be more rock crawlers, but we have to start somewhere. The rock crawling exhibition did not go as planned, and the obstacles disintegrated fairly quickly. There was a lot of miscommunication about it and I ended up having to beg for some buggies at the last minute. If we decide to do it again next year, it will be better.

I also talked to the organizers about the RC crawl idea and we will discuss that at the upcoming meeting. Again, thanks to all those that came out.

Ill be there with my Gold 1970 olds 442. Probably atached to the "Lindon Collision Center" booth. Stop by and say hi.

Saw your 442 there, very nice car for sure. I was amazed at the quality and amount of extremely nice and rare cars that came to the show.

Awesome show Bart! $3 admission to see such a HUGE show is worth it. Next year I going to get my dad to enter his 1951 Willys pickup.

YES!!! If you do it next year, I am sure I could wrangle (sp?) up our club and put on a good show, and maybe have some demos and what not. Trust me, R/C is a little easier to arrange and get into tight spots if needed, and dont need a huge course.:hickey:

I had no problems paying $3 to get in, and was actually surprised it was only $3. It was definitely worth it. And yeah, the rock crawling "demo" was kinda sad. Work on that for next year!

You're all WEAK SAUCE!
3 bucks was fine. Waiting in huge frickin' lines.....not so much.

My only complaint is that they need a couple people working the ticket windows.

Also, the green 63 falcon station wagon was ridiculous :greg:. One of the coolest cars I've ever seen.

This will be the first time I missed the show in years. I had to work

The three bucks is not only cheap, but that money goes to pay for scholarships in the automotive department at UVU. I would pay even more to get in, since I was a scholarship recipient. I don't know if I could have afforded college without that money. That's part of the reason I go every year and drag a lot of people along with me.

CubanB-- my stepdad has a pretty clean falcon in his barn he wants to restore. You should sell him the 460 and C6 from your F250.

The long wait at the window was Thanksgiving Point, not UVSC. I think they were somewhat caught off guard for some reason.

X100 on the Falcon, that car was unreal. The wood on the side was unbelievable.
