Teraflex Longarm Upgrade

Is anyone running a Teraflex Long arm upgrade. If so have you been satisfied. I have a 4.5" Rubicon Express short arm kit with a coil spacer and it does not have much flex. Would it be possible to add the Teraflex upgrade and just use my RE upper arms. Or is this just not possible. The main reason for not wanting to do the RE upgrade is the price. I am a cheap ass I know. Or would it be worth it to just save up for the RE kit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No reason at all that you couldn't run the Tera long arm lowers with your RE uppers. That would work dandy:)

you probably won't gain any articulation, however, your ride quality will greatly improve. i just put one on with there belly up kit and i absolutely love it. their kit is top notch.

is there anywhere local (ogden or salt lake) that sell the kit. I figured I would not get much articulation but my ride quality really sucks right now. I was hoping it would a little better quality. As for the upper arms does teraflex have a upgrade kit for just the upper and lower long arms and skid. Thanks again

Or is there another long arm upgrade anyone has used that would help my articulation. I am aware of the RE kit but I was just looking at options if there is any other kits out there.

Local option to buy the Tera kit is to go down to Teraflex Plus in Murray. Not sure why people are saying you won't gain articulation, because you will. Right now with your short arms at 5.5" lift, you're maxing them out (hitting the shock mounts) quick. Once you add the upgrade to longarms, you'll be able to get more down travel out of it.

Call Teraflex and talk to Bryson or Carl.....that or take a drive down there. It's something like 5200 S and 300 W.

That's what I'd do!

I have the RE 5.5" long arm kit w/3 link rear and I love it!! It replaces the UCAs and LCAs for a true long arm kit. If you can't afford it all at once then RE sells everything by piece. Buy the skid plate (what the arms attach to) and lower arms, when you can afford it get the uppers. My ride and flex are awesome!!

I ran the Tera long arm upgrade and loved it. Really, for ride quality, price, and customer service, you can't beat the kit.
