Thank a Vietnam Vet today

Forty-Five years ago today the last U.S. combat troops left South Vietnam. These young soldiers left their homes, their families, and their lives to fight for freedom in a country thousands of miles away. On March 29, 2017 a new holiday was signed into existence by the President to honor those brave men and women who answered their country’s call and sacrificed so much in the jungles and rice paddies of Southeast Asia.
Please take a minute today to honor a Vietnam veteran for their service and fly your flag in honor of National Vietnam War Veterans Day

I put my flag out this morning to honor my dad. He was in the 101st airborne, 2 tours in Vietnam.

That's awesome, thank him for me too. My dad also served two over there, heck of a way to spend your youth.
