Nascar is like Neil Diamond I guess. You either love it or hate it. I like it personally. I didn't until I actually went to a race and that changed my mind.

You know, I actually do like all forms of racing, and I agree. Nascar is either a love (you get it) or hate (you don't get it) kind of thing. About 15 years ago some friends and I made annual pilgrimages to Phoenix for the Nascar race (from LA). It was a lot of fun. I really just wanted to rock the boat a little!
