Just got back from the yearly family trip to Moab. This is with the wifes side of the famliy. We took 4 rented Rubicons and 6 mildly modified daily drivers. The first day we ran Hells Revenge, and the second day was Cliffhanger. Check out the ARB bumper on the 2005 toyota, it is prototype from ARB. If Clutch wants he can show you the custom modifications he made to the Tahoe on the way down as well.

He is a guy from my neighborhood. If he does not have an RME account yet I will have to have him get one and tell us more about it. I know he has talked to ARB a few times about having the bumpers produced.

Hmmm, I'm betting his was the one from Mark Miller Toyota?? ARB put one on a 05' 4 Runner right when they came out... no word yet on production yet as there seem to be bigger fish to fry (FJCruiser bumpers are presold now to 250). Looks great on the Runner!

Nope he has had his 4 runner for just over a year now, and has only had the bumper for a few weeks (maybe a month).

Looks like a great time Keith, are the in-laws into wheelin too or was this their first time? I've had my in-laws on some very mild trails & they were impressed. I don't know if I'd be brave enough to take them on Hells Revenge.

How'd the cage do? Obviously ( & luckily) you didn't test it, but does it have the needed room & protection you wanted?

Mark Miller put the bumper on just a month ago, ARB's has only been installed since just before SEMA, ask him if you get a chance, I would be interested to know :D

About 6-7 years ago the inlaws signed up for the easter jeep safari and he took his brand new grand cherokee on a very extreme trail called "fins and things". :D That same weekend he also got talked into elephant hill. After that weekend there were some bumpers that got re-painted but he did it again the next year. They now go down every year together with the whole family, aunts and uncles and their families too. We are a slow group who stops often and takes lots of photos, but everyone has a good time.

The cage turned out very well for a first attempt. I need to recline the seat back more and add a few spreaders and I will be very happy with it. The good part is now I am not worried about cutting or adding anything I need to fit my needs. And it is much safer than the stocked roll cage that was bolted to a rotted out floor.

The ARB bumper was made for the Toyota Prado. ARB Australia sold it to me and shipped it to ARB USA in Seattle. Tim Lund, who is one of the ARB fabricators in Seattle made all of the needed changes so that it would fit my 2005 4 runner. The winch is a 9500lb and the lights are 8" KC and 4.5" Amber Ion PIAA in the bumper. It also has a 3" lift with another 2" on the way. This is NOT the ARB from Mark Miller. The Bumper shipped to Mark Miller was not modified by ARB for the 4 runner according to the folks @ ARB Seattle. ARB had the jigs to make the exact mods so I went with them. I did the actual installation in my garage-it was all bolt on no drilling required.

Cool, I knew they were using Prado bumpers, I checked out the one on their 4 Runner last year . Looks great on there. Mark Miller did put one on a 4Runner, I know the tech that did the work down there pretty well, I figured it had to be yours, guess not. Good work either way, Tim knows his stuff, hes a cool dude!

Poor deer just wanted to hitch a ride to Moab. I am still glad that the family, the 4x4, the trailer, etc did not get hurt. That is a scary deer at 55 with a trailer loaded up behind the family.
