Today a bunch of retards ran the Snakes. I say that with love! I went out to meet... Meat and Kiel, for some rims. Shawn, Bart, Bart's son Iforgothisnamealready, and... Jared? were there as well. Having nothing better to do on such a wonderful day (except the PITA heater core in a '92 Achieva, woot) I decided to run up the first part of Rattlesnake in the Burb.

Things have moved around a little since the last time I was up there, but nothing too bad. For some reason the step section was kicking my ass, but Meat and Shawn got me through. I WAS giving it gas!!! :D

I'll post the pics late tonight, I'm heading out for lunch... I've got some pics that make Wayne's World look like the steepest thing you've ever seen.

I've got a bunch of cool pics and some cool vids, including several of Jared coming close to driving the nest.... I'm too tired to post them tonight though.... tomorrow sometime

You, you, and you-- STFU!!! :D

So Meat actually had a camera, but posts that awesome picture? WHATEVER!!! hahah. That thing is such a huge pig, but it's fun anyway. :D

So here's some pics:

My travelling companion for the day, my daughter Kelsey. She has been loving that I'm home all the time, but loves getting outdoors with me even more. So naturally she had to come with. :D

Next, we have Shawn and Bart messing around on a little side obstacle. Looked fun from behind everyone, and I smoked it with the Burb. Wheelbase rules! Yeah. Right. Bart is confused about UT weather: he wore shorts, and had no top on the Jeep for NPLD, when it was 12 below and snowing, but wore very warm clothes and had a top today, when it was warm and sunny. We should help him.

Here's Kiel, right after he came a blonde hair from dumping his right front tire in a big downhill hole, and wisely asked for help. Sean got to make fun of both Kiel AND myself while helping him avoid tippage. That's skill, right there.

And here's Kiel again. I was behind him, soooo...... Amazingly, the 4 scared gerbils in his "engine" were able to generate enough rodent power to actually spin the tires up this dusty hill. Kelsey was aghast.

Here's Jared on the WICKEDEST OBSTACLE EVER!!! the totally undoable Wayne's World. I found the good angle to take pics from, finally LOL. Bart went first, and did alright.... and then Jared walked right up, and then took the sweet loop option, for another shot at it. That was pretty cool.

Then we have Shawn, at the bottom and top of Waynes' World. He did a LOT better once he remembered what a transfer case was for. :D The shot coming out of the top looks very unlike the actual place to me, for some reason. Cameras DO lie, and they do it well.

Here's the rest of the one's I'll post.

Kiel, tearing it up!!!

Here's my daughter, who got her brain jiggled badly on our descent from Wayne's World, and duly passed out at the bend in 73. :D

And Bart, who actually went first, but I screwed up the file for a sec. I like his Jeep, which makes me feel dirty, in a good way. This should have been posted earlier in the thread.... LOL

Hahahaha, great pics Tacoma. Glad to see you out there. The day was a blast until later on. I ended up busting some stuff, and now need to work on the Jeep again.

I'm staring at the crossroads of either wheeling easier trails or selling my beloved TJ and buying a buggy.

Yeah, it was way to nice a day to just go home. :D I noticed a nice branch rub along the body line from one of those skinny little ravines I followed y'all into.... :D

I think you should just upgrade the breaky parts. Cheaper than a buggy, no tow rig needed, and you can do hardish trails without worrying so much. :D

But if you don't, then sell the TJ and build a buggy around 42's. :eek2: :D :D

I see some of you also became aquainted with "Goats Rock":D

Sorry I missed out. I avoid water like the plauge. See everyone on the next run.
