Drooooooool. A luxurious Mercedes with 5 locking differentials, portals with beadlocks, 37's and CTIS, a twin turbo'd V8 and a seven speed tranny,a factory warranty, and it still has a functional pickup bed!

I think this will probably make the top of the next Expedition Portal "Best Expedition Rig" list. And all who don't own one will be considered slumming it. :D

I want one! I'm making up a list of banks for my wife to rob. Interesting video but sure tearing up some pristine ground. Must be wheeling somewhere in the Sahara of north Africa.

The power is sent to the middle axle, then it is sent from there, to both the front end and the rear-most axle, with a differential between each (allowing for driving in 6 wheel drive on pavement without the binding forces between the different axles). Those are the two differentials that are less obvious.

I didn't enjoy their disregard for the ideals of treading lightly, wherever on earth it was filmed.

Since they're only building 20-30 off them, it's even sadder to think that a good portion of them may be relegated to mere collector status instead of ever used for the badassery they are capable of.

There is a 6x6 version that is built for the Austrian Army (What the G63 is bassed off of). So maybe one day you can pick up a surplus version for cheap.
