The real presidential issues

I was listening to "Meet the Press" on Sunday and one of the dudes said the only two issues to decide on the presidential campagin is whether your candiate is for or against abortion (pro-choice or pro-life) or terrorism?
I don't believe that!! I think those are the media's issues, not the real issues of the American public. When I look at the candidates, abortion is NOT the first thing pops into my head. National security does, Imagration does, guns laws do, welfare reform does.

There is only a small portion of people that can't think for themselves, and we call them democrats. When the peopl that can think for themselves, republicans, go out and vote, they take over the house.

Oh, and to me abortion, etc is unimportant. Heck, I don't even care if he tried drugs back in the 60's. I care more about terrorism, etc. But honestly, they are all liar's anyway and will only say what they think they need to say to win. The only reason Bush won a second time, with being completely honest, was because he was up against a douche.. Or was it a turd sandwich? Naw, I think it was a douche...

I was listening to Doug Wright this morning and he said what I have been asking Democraps for the last year...what is your plan B for the war. Just bringing the troops home is NOT the answer. I only here critisizm, not results oriented comments from the other side. Drives me NUTS!

I agree...We can't just pull out of there, we have to finish it. I still say the govt needs to step way back and let our boys take care of it - their own way, the way they were trained. If it means sending another 300k troops over, so be it. But the other side to, would even 300k troops solve it quicker? In the beginning it might have, but now?
