skippy, if I missed it I apologize, but was yours a QuadraDrive model, open rear diff, or just a rear LS? I eventually will most likely do an axle swap to get a real locker, etc....

I ask, because if your D44a is open, I might want to take it off your hands. That's all.I have no idea, It is all getting ripped out so I never paid any attention. I made sure the Jeep was clean and ran good and the rest doesnt matter
Haha, happy to help. Also thank you Troop for posting something relevant in here.
^needs more lift and bigger tires. He lives in Tooele you know...
Let me know when you're ready to mill/drill your knuckle for high steer. I need to do mine too. I believe Dave sent you pics of what I've been contemplating on how to do mine. (I'm Dave's uncle.)
I'm continuing to love the build.
'bout time you started this build...it only took 5 pages

So these will be welded to the bottom of the sub-frame rails?
I started getting my sub frame/ lower link mounts for the WJ all welded together yesterday and I am stoked how it is turning out, It should be super strong and strengthen the unibody as well. The side plates are 3/16 and the tube is 1.5x.120 DOM that connect both sides. The bottom will be boxed in with 3/16 as well and be the perfect starting point for my full belly skid.
Damn. And I thought I overbuilt my shit. I had used some11-gauge steel to reinforce the unibody on a ZJ but haven't used .188".
I am anxious to see it all welded on and the links in place. That should do the trick that's for sure.
Mike.
