Yeah for some reason I'm getting the feeling that the public service announcement is a little under-played to keep everyone calm but it seems the air is pretty toxic.

My Dad's house got knocked off it's foundation when the one in Woods Cross blew up a few years ago. They settled with the company but there is still damage that hasn't been repaired. Luckily no one was inside, but my dog. No harm though. The door blew off and he ran to the neighbors across the street. Who also had all his windows blown out.
 
That's near my hometown. I hope my.friends are all right. What type of respirator/mask would be helpful in this situation (besides an scba)?
 
Yeah, my parents are only ~30 minutes from this refinery - luckily we have secluded property way up in the mountains where they can quarantine themselves...:p
