Anyone care to share their thoughts on the ARB Freezers? Im heading to lowrangeoffroad tomorrow to look at them and wanted to hear others thoughts on them. Really worth $700+ for these or would you just get a cheap electric fridge from walmart?

Apples and oranges to compare an actual freezer/fridge (ARB, Engel, etc) with the thermoelectric units found at Walmart and such, capable of only cooling ~40 degrees below ambient and at a much, much higher amp draw.

If your still on the edge, rent one for a weekend and see if it does what you want and for the cost. I think some renter find they fridge is not an answer to their problems... most I dare say make plans to buy one.

I noticed, and the money from renting goes towards the buy if you buy one. I would buy one from him if I didnt have credit at lowrangeoffroad. I will have to rent one though I think for my trip on the 3rd down to Vegas in the sidekick, no ac and definately going to need some could Apple Beers :D
