Which 3 link? (triangulated/wishbone, or 3 + panhard?)

In general, Y arms (radius arms) will be easier to fit, but articulate less. That can be good or bad, since the "sway bar" effect of radius arms is nice sometimes.

BUT

There are a TON of variables that affect it all....length of radius arms, amount of triangulation of arms, whether one is used or two (a "wristed" setup), what type of bushings are used, etc.

A 3 link + panhard IN GENERAL will articulate more easily, less caster change during travel, but be more difficult to fit and fabricate. There will also be more joints to buy, again depending on how either one is designed.

Again, a TON of variables.

Sorry I can't be more specific. :)

thanks for your help. on my last buggy I ran a y arm or a radius arm and it seemed to work well, but I am building a new buggy and am looking at my options. on I ran the y arm or radius arm on both sides of the axle.

so what you are saying is I will get less body roll but it will articulate less if I use a y arm set up and if i use a three link its just the oppiset of the y arm. witch one preforms better or are the pretty much the same.

thanks

Essentially, yes. (with many factors affecting each)

i agree with carl that a three link will flex better and smoother, plus if your building a buggy you should be able to creat room to do the desired set-up build with everything inmind:)
