Tire age question

The old Willys project I picked up last week has a nearly brand new set of 31-10.50-15 tires on it but they have been sitting for a long time. The date code looks like they are over 10 years old but they have no sidewall cracking or signs of any problems. I know that the tire places won't even mount tires that are over 7-8 years old. So would these tires be worth using or should I just chuck them or sell them as trail only tires ? The tires are on nice rims that I'm sure someone could use so I would save those. Any thoughts ?

I'd run them

Just start out small and keep an eye on them, be gentle at first, then a little harder, then a little harder. If there is going to be a problem it will show up quickly.
