Tire Hunting?

The Land Cruiser (FJ40) has needed new tires for some time now, so after looking at a couple different tires I decide to replace the tires with the same tire and size that it has now(Super Swamper TSL/SX 35x15.5x15) So 4 Wheel Parts has a sale on Super Swampers and I order a set online only to get a call a few days later saying they can not complete my order because Interco no longer makes this tire in that size. So I email Interco to see if they plan on making this tires in the size again and I’m told they are in mid Nov. So now I have some time to think about tires, tire size, and wheels. The wheels I have now need a spacer in the front so it would be a good time to think about new wheels and that makes me start thinking about bead locks(which I would like but can not afford)
So.....

First what tires should I look at for replacing the TSL/SX?

Second if I change wheel size(15x10 right now) what size should I look at 16s, 16.5s, 17s, 20s, 22s

Third if I can swing some bead locks what bead locks should I look for and which ones should I stay away from? (It does not need to be street legal but would be nice)

And Last if anyone has any or knows of any used tires/wheels in he 35/36” range please let me know.

17" wheels are the new 15" that was 10+ yrs ago. Tires are another topic. It's all a matter of preference. Ten guys may tell you Toyos ten may tell you BFG. My suggestion which is worth nothing would be to look at the terrain the vehicle is in most of the time and find something that suits. Beadlocks I would avoid Stuans and look into Allieds?

If I were looking at any Interco tire and drove it on the street I would look at the Swamper Radials. I ran them before and liked them, but now run the KM2's and like them even more.

i would definitely go 17 if your changing wheels cause you will have a lot more option. buy what is going to be the best for you , i run on the street a lot so i got km2 and i enjoy them.

Thanks for the input, Now things get even more completed if I go with a 17'" wheel and stay with a 35" tire don't that put my new wheels 1" closer to the rocks? What are Stuans? and the tires don't need to be street friendly, so I was thinking more like Pitpbull Rockers, Creepy Crawlers, or BFG Krawlers what other tires should I be looking at?
