Tire warranties

When I bought my last Jeep it came with some oversized tires and fancy rims. Due to having no lift on the Jeep (Grand Cherokee) I couldn't turn the wheel all the way without rubbing so I went back to boring stock tires and rims. I have the tires on KSL and even though the tires are basically new people expect that I have a transferrable warranty on them. Since we got the Jeep from a dealer they of course got rid of the warranty papers since they wanted us to buy their extended warranty. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a tire warranty especially for tires that are almost new but no way of proving where they came from ?

I've bought and sold quite a few sets of tires on ksl and have never been asked about a tire warranty. They're used tires ffs.. Lol.

Are you sure it's not some spammer trying to get you to buy their tire warranty? I could see that being a thing.

I was glad to have a tire warranty from the previous owner on a recent trip to Silverton Colorado where I got a gash in the sidewall of a Big O tire. I had been told that the road hazard warranty wouldn’t cover anyone except the original purchaser of the tires, so I told the technician that the vehicle belonged to the company that originally bought the tires. They installed a new tire at no charge after looking up the purchase information.IMG_2207.jpeg
