Any ideas of a cure for some bumpsteer? The jeep has a 4" lift and I just put a drop pitman arm on it because it still had the stock one, but t didnt change it. The ball joints are good and it runs straight down the freeway. I was thinking maybe the steering stablizer is bad? please help... Jesse

Really, I haven't seen any lifted TJs without bump steer. You can minimize by doing what you're doing, but I don't think you can eliminate it all together.

Do you mean "death wobble"?

Bart is correct in stating that all lifted TJs have some bump-steer.

I recommend against installing a DPA unless you also lower the trackbar mounting point on the frame as well. Failing to do so will only exacerbate the issue.

There are a 100 things that can cause death wobble, from incorrect tire PSI to worn steering/suspension components.

When I had a 4.5" lift on mine a few years ago I was having the same problems. I had come across a new steering stabilizer. I put it on and was surprised that it had actually helped quite a bit. It has never gone completely away but I am fine with that.
