What have you used for a front running lights and blinkers on tj with tube front tendered

As you know, the running light/blinker on the front of the fender is a 3 wire so the smaller LEDs with 2 leads won't work. But, you can use the wiring from the side marker on the fender to run down to the grill and use just 2 wires. If you are running LEDs in the rear tail lights you will need to run a resistor in the wiring to slow the blinker speed.

I drilled some holes up front for the lights, now it looks more like a CJ

I can't remember off the top of my head right now which 2 wires of the 3 wire harness you use to make them work, but I will look at it tonight and post up a picture.

You've got a boatload of options depending on how you want it to look and how much work you want to do yourself.

If you want an easy but spendy solution you could do something like this:

If you want to buy something to make 2 wire leds work as both running lights and turn signals you can go this way:

Or you can go to radio shack and buy a few diodes and resistors and make it yourself. Should cost you about $5. Here is the wrightup on jeepforum:

I did something similar, I repurposed a bridge rectifiers diodes more like this wrightup, put it in a project box from standard supply and waterproofed the whole thing.

The wire that is not used is for the marker light. Green is for the turn signal.

You will want to change to this flasher.
