TJ Radiator thickness?

Looking around on Rock Auto, replacements come in thicknesses ranging from 1" to 1 5/16". Most are single row cores.

How much depth do you have between the radiator core and your water pump pulley's nose?
That's what I'm thinking. I was able to do the Taurus fan with the stock rad. The fan was shaved to much though and the clip the held the motor and fan together ended up etching into the stock rad so I got the aluminum 2 row from mishimoto ( not as direct fit as they said ) but then the fan didn't work with it. Was pretty down about that. I loved how The jeep felt with the electric fan. Aren't you the guy that had The TJ with the 360 in it in north Ogden?
I haven't checked yet. I'm going to measure when I get the time but debating if I want to get rid of the aluminum one if it saves me a inch or so
Oh. My apologies. Confused I guess. But anyways. I had a Taurus fan and it didn't work with this radiator. Now I have a mark 8 fan unmolested so I'm doing a bit more homework first. I only have a inch maybe a 1.5 I can shave off that shroud but if that inch or so isn't good enough then I'm going to probably switch the rad. Because then I'll have another inch or so to play with. Total that's 2 or 3 inches I can get. If I can't fit it with the 2 core then I'll probably see about getting rid of it. Not sure if I'd just see if someone wants to trade or just buy a new replacement
I haven't ran across any dual fan set ups for the TJ so I don't think so
