TJ rocker protection

Do any local shops sell some sort of rocker protection for TJ's? I'm looking for something built out of plate that mounts to both the body & frame (at the body mount) and also has a tube step that can be High-Lifted from or bashed against rocks.

Anyone?

A few months ago, I was by RL and they were putting a set of rocker guards on a YJ. I don't think it would be terribly difficult for them to take that same guard and adapt it (or build one specifically for ) a TJ.
This rocker was a plate type that mounted to both the body and the frame. Since you are talking about a tube step, I think they could easily adapt one to that rocker.

when I finally decide that I have the money to do more mods to my rig, that rocker guard is on my list of items I want.

Mount Logan has some awesome rocker guards for TJ's. My little brothers have really held up well. If I remember right they were pretty well priced as well.

They don't have the tube set up, but work better in my opinion and look really good.

You may want to check with Sky's Extreme also Greg.

Their TJ was sporting some pretty slick ones at the X-96 B.A.SH

I know the Curries are not local but shipping is not that bad.
Mine have held up well and the tubes make good steps and stick out 3 inches to protect the body. Have lifted from them and support vehicle well.

The do not mount via the body mounts, notched to fit around.

just 2 pennies

Big Daddy Offroad in one of the Carolinas sells ones like the ones above for 200, I paid I think 25 for shipping, they do not tie into the frame though... cant attest for strength yet as I have yet to fall on them... tried at the Rock Garden but even the bigger rocks missed my rockers

pics can be seen on my site, click below

I was offered by Rock Road outfitters in Heber to lend my TJ for 4 days so they could fab up a model for their use but declined since I didnt like how they looked, ugly IMO but they would have been free. :D those only attach to the frame, no tub mounting at all.

Greg,

Get a hold of Rocky Road Outfitters. Their rockrails have a lifetime guarantee. Call Matt when you get a chance.

poison spyder's are like you describe...but I dont know how they attach...and they are probably $$$...

They bolt to the body and attach to the body mounts underneath. I think that they are like 240 a set but need to be painted. But I can vouch for the durability of them.

GREG,
I have Sky's Extreme rocker guards on my jeep and proved case in point, that they stand up to alot of hard core bashing. they mount to the body mount bolts and protect the whole area that hangs out there for rocks to bite at. KENNETH !!

Jason at RedRock4X4 has the Toys by Troy rockers in stock. They are thick as hell and have a large round tube step. They mount on the side of the tub and the bottom and come powder coated.

I recently used the Tube step on the Toys by Troy rocker on another jeep to flip him back over.

Jason can be reached @ 274-2215

Despite the fact that 858 is totally clueless........they are actually pretty decent rocker guards.

I have them on my Jeep. You can see them Saturday when we head up to Forest Lake......
