Things here aren't too bad I suppose. Honestly I think this propaganda stuff is just more of the same garbage the North does every year just a little more aggressive this year. Historically this time of year every year is kind of tense around here. I'm still not sure really how to take it honestly, the U.S. does their war games every year in the spring and every year the North makes threats. Obviously this year with Jr. just taking over he is trying to make a name for himself.
The atmosphere is strange here though all the time knowing that at anytime we could be at war with the North but we just live out our lives as normal as possible. I pretty much just try to stick to my day to day routine and not think about what could happen. Being here is so much different than Iraq or Afghanistan. Every day over there we knew somebody was probably going to lob a mortar or rocket our way and on more than one occasion I had close calls but it just became routine. Here it's kinda hard to take the threat seriously because dumbass up North is like a child looking to bully his way around the playground filled with much larger bullies.
As far as the beers go I appreciate the thought but by the time anything would arrive in the mail at this point I'd probably be home since we only have a few weeks left. Luckily right now there are some good German beers at the BX which I need to go and get for a big going away party we are having today.
And Kevin you thought wrong and your Toyota still smells funny.
