My plan to fix the oil pan problem was to move the front axle forward just enough to clear the oil pan. About 6 inches. I estimate the Scout would have to go 3-4 inches higher for everything to clear.....

BUT!!

The masses have spoken......

As much as I want the Scout to have rear steer....its going to stay on one tons (for now)

I still want to buy the Rocks for my next project and who knows....they could end up under the Scout one day but I think a few good hard wheelin trips are in order first.

Thanks for all the input everyone.

Anyone have a number for a good asylum??

exactly!

If I were wheelin gray rock every weekend then, rocks and 44"+ tires would be in order..............and so would a big block, tube chassis, 125+ wb, and a truck full of money to make it all work right.

Something like Tim Cameron's bad A$$ rockwell buggy:greg:

BTW

Tim Cameron does not own this buggy anymore. As soon as he found out that it did not make the cut for TTC 08 he sold it :rofl::confused::rofl::rofl:

Dig up that issue of Crawl w/the Scout in it. I've been looking at it here all week... because I do have Rockwells, and they're going on a ridiculously enormous truck, and he's got some good ideas. :D

Like moving the axle way the hell forward.

I havent posted this up very much but my Black Box blew up!!! Northwest Fab had an employee that was putting them together and he didnt put a big snap ring in which allowed the gears to seperate and........ya.........

For the record tho, Kyle is taking care of it. He just got the box back yesterday, fixed it and shipped it out yesterday as well. Im hoping it gets to the shop by Thursday or Friday. That way I can make the Blacks run on the 25th!

Keeping my fingers crossed!
