where are the pics?

Ditto on the pics.

I have always liked the DRZ's. I thought seriously about getting one, but with the light weight of the new 450's, I may have to rethink a DRZ for the future............

I didn't want any lame poser pics of it in the garage, so I took it out today to get some, but my fingers were so cold I didn't take the camera out. 22* for the high here and I was out riding. :D

I had a WR400 and loved it, but having to kickstart it, especially if you kill the bike on a hill or in a precarious spot, was a PITA. The elec start on the DRZ is the best thing in the world! Even if I had more money, I'd still get a DRZ. The weight doesn't bother me and for the type of riding I like to do, it's a perfect bike. Plus I got a good deal on it... :hickey:

There's a TON of awesome mtn biking trails out here and 80% of them are legal to ride with a motorcycle. Today I rode about 15 miles of singletrack, down into and back out of washes weaving around boulders, blasting thru meadows... all on 12" wide singletrack!! I loved it! :freak:

Check out Kanah (sp) Creek next spring or summer. I'm not sure if it is open to motorcycles, but if it is you could ride up to Blue Lake. It is in the mountains and is very secluded. You've probably been on the Mary's - Steve's - etc. Loop rides? Dam I miss CO and these trails.
