I went to go buy this rig earlier today. Only to find out that my credit Union won’t approve a loan because sprinters are a “commercial vehicle”. So irritating! I can go buy a $90k truck but not an inexpensive van??!! Now I need to find a lender that isn’t stupid…

That'd explain things a little. I guess one could slip a 12v Cummins in there and get near 57 mpg at 80 mph with that?

The internet tells me it is pretty difficult to get financing for cargo vans unless you do one of two things:
1- buy new and finance through Mercedes.
2- buy an upfitted van and get an RV loan.

Go to Home Depot and buy a cheap vanity and sink to throw in the back. Ask dealer if you can take a pic to show the bank your RV.
