Toughest 1400 mile dirt bike ride in USA

Has anyone seen this book yet? I wonder just what kind of bike it's aiming for and what the trails are like. It's really an intriguing idea but I'm skeptical that it's actually fun single track for the majority of the route.

Now I just need another bike setup for long days on single track with little support...

You would want a 450 4T for that ride. I just got done watching "Rip to Cabo". It's 1400 miles in 7 days from the US Border below San Diego to Cabo. It looked like a riot
