i was wondering if anyone has seen this done......or i am looking for some opinions as to wether you think is a good setup or not....

i'll set it up abit for ya.....

it's a conversion from a stock carb to a Toyota Carolla 1.2 liter carb...with little fabbing and custom work...check it out....

you'll have to scroll down to find the link that says Toyota Carb Conversion..

I never thought of that. I was thinking about putting a gm 2.5 thottle body and sensors in though. that might be something to think about because then you have fuel injection.

Take a sami intake and have a Mr. Gasket 2bbl carb adapter welded to it then get a carb from a Ford 2300 (pinto, Mustang 2 etc...) and hold on. These carbs are very good at angles and put out some fuel. I know of a guy that did this and he swears by it.

It is only hear-say from a friend. I will be trying it as soon as I find a carb.

Seems like alot of fabbing just to retain a Toy carb....

I thinkn the best option is the 2.5 TBI unit. Cruiser guys use the 4.3 TBI all the time... there are several companies now selling the adapters and ful kits. As far as electronics... there isn't a whole lot that you have to deal with on a TBI system... they can pretty much be their own harness...

seems like a lot of fabbing to retain a carb period!!

carbs suck period!!

If you want to get creative, go get the fuel injection off a 1.3 suzuki swift and make that work on a zuk motor...I have heard rumors of people making it work but have yet to have verification.

Oh jeez it is going to take too long to produce a small weld on an intake manifold. I have no carb problems. I'm just looking for more fuel delivery. Even when I did the Eagle's Nest it was still running. I would rather deal with a few welds than deal with the wiring nightmare and the possibility of having to be towed out because the $400.00 computer failed on me. FI would be nice in some situations but what the he11, a zuk can't possibly, no way, no how do Constrictor either ;)
