The production model won't be an 8L will it?

I believe the 8L is the Hino motor that they tossed in for the auto shows, to get the idea out there that they're not playin mess around when it comes to their trucks and diesel motors.. :) The 7L will be production...

Here's for hoping for a solid front axle and revised styling from the current Tundra ;)

Don't hold your breath...

Did you miss the "hoping" ? :D (you're gonna have to pick up on that kind of stuff when you're wedded--good time to start is now) Maybe all the foo-foo, too harsh of ride types will actually buy a Corolla now and we can have actual trucks again?

I agree with that. Want a car ride? Buy a car. I want strength and simplicity.

I also don't want to buy a vehicle where it's biggest selling point is the cup holders and gps / audio player. Oh and don't forget the on-star crap.

I am digging that  If it ends up being as sweet as it sounds then I may have found my next tow rig (when the time comes to get another tow rig :p)
