Toyota IFS steering gears

I'm thinking of running one of these on my Bronco for racing.
Is there a reason that I should not? And what is the going price for one?

I know you can buy them @ junk yards for 35 $ but depends if need it tapped for hydro assist and or if you can do the rebuild and tap.
