Toyota T-Case questions

I've got a T-Case out of an 87' toyota pickup, when i bought the truck, the t case was in the bed, the guy that i bought it from wasn't sure but thought that it had a gear reduction kit in it or something like that. I was just wondering if there was any way to find that out without pulling the case apart. And if i have to pull the case apart, what am i looking for?

No need to pull it apart. Shift it into low range. Turn the input shaft, while keeping count of how much you're turning it, untill the output shaft makes one revolution. Just over two turns would be stock gears. Anything more (like 4 turns), would be modified.
