trail clean up kit

After a recent tread lightly discussion I have decided I need a trail clean up kit. I always carry plastic bags and stuff like that to pick up trash and dirt from spills etc. I haven't in the past carried kitty liter or really anything besides bags and towels. I was wondering what you guys are keeping in your trail clean up kits. Post anything up you have found to be useful and I will update this post to include those items. My goal is a good compromise between size and completeness. None of us will carry everything( a shop vac and generator;)). I am trying to keep it compact. This by no means the only way to do it. I figure put it on the list and each can choose what works for them.
Here is what I have so far

*Trash bags of various sizes and thickness
*zip lock bags of various sizes
*shovel big, small, whatever
*paper towels
*blue shop rags
*Some sort of absorbent like kitty liter, ground corn cobs, or sawdust (I don't know the best option on this)
*gloves
*a tarp or space blanket
*baby wipes
*a bag or box to keep it all in and accessible.

What else?

Blue shop rags pull oil into them and might be beefer than paper towels.
I've used saw dust instead of kitty litter. Dual purpose you can start a fire with some if needed.
Space blanket for tarps as well as blankets if needed.
Just some ideas.

Good ideas! I liked the saw dust idea and the space blanket because dual purpose is always nice to save space.

I think dirt is the most convenient absorbent on the trail, you only have to carry it after the roll.

Everywhere you go you carry a dirt ball around.

Sometimes a dirt bag in a Grand Vitara goes with me.

I guess dirt isn't always available, but I have been able to use snow in those situations.

To actually add to this, skip the space blanket and get a good tarp. So many more uses: use it as a creeper, a diff diaper, an oil soaked dirt holder, shelter, blanket, etc.

Also, baby wipes are one of the most convenient trail items I have discovered. After repairs or clean up it's nice to be able to grip the steering wheel.

IFA looks like the place to go, their commercial for fall seed/fertilizer for lawns is working on me hahah

I carry trash bags, a shovel, and blue shop rags.. and sometimes kitty litter. So far, that has been sufficient to clean up rollover spills and deal w/the mess. Kitty litter for the rocks, the dirt under the spill otherwise.

Baby wipes are amazing. I forgot to add those even though I almost always have them(except when I am out and one of the kids poops).

I have 2 complete spill kits, one of which needs a new home if anyone needs it. They are great to have, luckily I have never needed one yet.

What do you keep in these complete clean up kits? That is nice of you to offer one up.

Ground Corn Cobs as an absorbent. Aside from Green Stuff, this is the best liquid absorbent I've ever come across. You can buy it in bulk at IFA for cheap.

Ground corn cobs huh, sounds like a great idea. I wonder how cheap.

Stephens commercial for IFA corn cobs worked on me.
