I have heard alot about this trail. Im trying to find out how to get there. I googled forest lake utah and the directions are very vague.

Do i park at tibble fork and unload the quads there and ride up to the trail head or where is the staging area for trail number 194?

Is silver lake the same as forest lake?

Thanx guys..

I didn't look through all the threads on here, but run a search for just Forest Lake in the title and you'll come back with a bunch of results.

yeah, thats alot of results. I personally have never been up there, i just purchased my first quad and i have only been riding 3 times in my life. I have been lookin for some close by places to draper to ride since i have to use my CAR to tow my quad, redneck yes, awesome yes and chick magnet factor is off the scales. With that in mind thats why im trying to find trail head number 194. Apparently its 3.3 miles up from tibble fork BUT it doesnt say where to park and stage at.

You can just park your car and trailer at the parking lot for Tibble Fork and ride the rest of the way. Better than beating your car up on the dirt road.

pretty easy to find. from tibble fork take the dirt road that goes off towards the EAST? it is probably 3.3 miles youll run into a river crossing off on your right hand side. cross the river and follow the trail. if your on a quad youll be able to make good time, and have plenty of time to explore.

LOL yeah true, i bought my car in February not realizing that in june i was going to buy a quad. Luckily for me, my car can handle it pretty well. Our lil red truck only had a 4 banger in it and it pulled our tent trailer all around, only difference was RWD and manual on the truck. My car actually has a bigger engine and better tranny ,

I hope it is good weather this weekend.

Here is a little sketch of the approximate trail.
You will see the turn off a couple hundred yards past the scary narrow drop off portion of the trail. There is a parking pullout and rail fence on the right and an obvious stream crossing just past it.
