I can see what it is, I guess the question is why? 16 years and counting without a tag or ticket for me (knock on pressure treated wood).

Oh, and I've got all sorts of varnishes and sealers. If you want to grab a gallon or two before I toss it just holler.

You can click on the pictures to make them bigger so even you can see it, geezer. ;)

I know a couple people who have had tickets for unlicensed trailers. I went a year without licensing mine though and never had a problem.

I've had a couple friends who had their trailers stolen. With it licensed it makes it a lot easier to report it stolen, if that ever happens. It's really cheap to license it, and that cost is worth it to me for the protection against any tickets, and the benefit I get if it ever gets stolen.

BC, is any of that stuff you have plain ol' clear sealer for pressure treated wood? You don't have any concrete sealer, do ya?

How are you goofballs getting away with no license? I thought it was 750 # and under was ok??

And mine is licensed and has it's own insurance........

It's single axle and less than 750 lbs that doesn't have to be licensed.

I've got a tandem axle trailer I built for atv's that is 8'3" x 15'6" weights 2,200lbs and has never been licensed. I've pulled it around a LOT for 10 years and never got a ticket, although one time when a cop pulled us over to see if we had witnessed a crash at 5mp, I was told as he walked away that I should get it licensed.

I have however gotten an expired tag ticket on my truck because the cop noticed the horse trailer was expired and then looked at my truck. He told me he wouldn't have even pulled me over for the trailer.

The stuff I have is just old varnish from the fifties. Back then, it was linseed based, so it makes a great sealer for any type of wood (especially if you mix it with Thompson's).

As far as concrete goes, are you looking for a sealer, or more of a clear finish? If just a sealer, it's hard to beat Thompson's for the money. If you're looking for more of a finish, check out Concrete Specialites.

Hmm, sucks, I could never have that luck!! A body or something would fall out from under my vehicle while he was looking at it or something.........
