trailer wires in a TJ

I guess I could look around and find someone to do this but how hard is it to hook up trailer wires to a 97 TJ that didn't come with a towing option (duh i would have them). Is there a splice pre-installed or do I need to cut into my wires and run wires to the bumper. Thanks

whoops also how much tounge weight can you put on a TJ with the skyjacker 4 inch lift kit. I dont plan on hauling a car just a little uhaul trailer.

If you live near Lone peak trailers in Lehi go in and get a
kit. All you have to do is plug it in to your system. and there you go.
cost??

If you do not live near there, go to any trailer place or rv place and they can order you one.

As for tounge weight?? I will haul a 4x8 trailer with all of my camping gear (and it is alot) and do okay. Just keep the load so you can drive normal. Adn I think the jeep is rated for 2000lb (that is not tounge weight)

I have a V8 so power is not an issue. The uhaul im looking at is rated at 2000 max load so i think im good. I'll stop by lone peak on my next run to provo. Thanks for the input.

Yeah, Mopar sells a harness that plugs right in as well......

and your jeep is rated at a MAX of 2000 lbs......damn things don't weigh nuttin
