Heber Jeepers Jeep Club is sponsoring in conjunction with Tommys Texas Barbecue and Happy Trails Jeep Adventures a Trails and Tales Night the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month May thru Sept. in Old Town Heber located at 650 W. and 100 S. in Heber City Ut. This is a chance for all local jeep owners to get together and meet and others to take a nice drive in for some great barbecue. Hope to see lots of new faces and jeeps.

In response to cruiseroutfit. Trails and Tales Night is like a cruise night.Just bring your Jeep or 4x4 and meet others, swap tales and eat barbecue if you want. Happy Trails Jeep Adventures is a new business in Heber City that is going to have JK Wrangler X's with 2 1/2 " Lift and 32" tires for rent and also is going to offer offroad accessories and othe retail merchandise.

Sounds interesting. With the rental business, what trails around Heber are you looking to have people rent them for?

I guess American Fork Canyon and a few Uinta trails are close but would that be enough to market? Interested to hear how it works out. Guided tours of some of those areas might add to the market but the FS isn't currently granting any outfitter permits for the entire PG district so that is out :(

Echoing my thoughts exactly. There is just so little up there. I hope it works out, I know Heber is trying to rebrand itself as an 'Adventure City'. Sort of a Moab North.
As for the retail side, I could see that tapping in to some solid demand in Wasatch and Summit counties. Where are you guys located? I'm up in Heber pretty regularly so I'd love to stop by and check the place out next time I'm in town.

Happy Trails Jeep Adventures is located in Heber Old Town about 4 blocks off Main
St. on the road between Heber and Midway.

The first night of summer Trails and Tales night was a success. Even though the weather was not the best we had 8 Jeeps attend and all enjoyed good conversation and BBQ. Hope that as the weather gets nicer attendance grows. The next one will be on Thurs the 27th. Hope to see you there.
