We're heading down to St. George for the Pioneer Day weekend and have not spent much time down there looking for trails. I know of some mtn bike trails nearby, but no jeep trails. I've got an XJ ghetto-buggy with 37s and rear Lincoln Locker but I don't have a trail buddy yet* (see below). Shorter trails closer to town in case of a break down would be ideal.
Thoughts on the West Rim Trail? It's rated 1 to 5 out of 5 :-\ so I'm not sure how to take that...paved bypasses around every waterfall?
I have a GPS, so I'll take cordinates for trailheads, names of trails, and/or where to find good maps.
